Reno Junction Travel Plaza in Gillette, Wyoming, brings an element of fun to the travel plaza industry while also meeting the needs of a wide range of customers.
From a saddle on a dinosaur to funny seats in the bar, the location is full of whimsical touches.
Hank Pridgeon, owner of the location, is doing a lot of really great things. In addition to meeting the needs of travelers, Reno Junction serves as a local store for the community.
Pridgeon has a wide variety of both hot and cold grab-and-go food the location prepares in house.
Customers can choose anything from burritos and hot dogs to hard-boiled eggs and parfaits.
The location has fun offerings inside of their restaurant, including malts. There is a bar attached to the facility, which gives customers a place to relax. There is also a drive through for beer and other items.
Reno Junction is in a rural area, and serves as a local store for the community. The product mix has something for everyone, whether it is a professional driver on an over-the-road trip or someone stopping in and grabbing something on her way home.
There is an amazing selection of jewelry, ladies’ hats, scarves and more.
The location is incredibly clean, and the bathrooms are beautiful.
The people are kind and work hard to take care of their customers. Pridgeon has made it a point to understand who his customers are and what they want, and it shows.
