NATSO’s Profitable Retail Review program is NATSO’s solution to the challenges that exist for NATSO truckstop members managing the complex issues surrounding truckstop management. Led by Darren Schulte, NATSO’s vice Ppresident of membership, the custom assessment of your truckstop includes recommendations for every aspect of your facility including actionable ideas to improve revenue and tactical ways to improve your net operating costs.

More About Darren Schulte:
Schulte joined NATSO with nearly three decades of experience in truckstop and travel plaza operations and merchandising, most recently as the Vice President for Retail Merchandising for TSC Global and Chief Merchandising Officer of Barjan LLC. Prior to his time with TSC Global/Barjan LLC, Schulte also worked for Petro Stopping Centers, HESS Corporation, and Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores. He has visited hundreds of truckstops and helped them improve.

How Does it Work:
Schulte will spend either one or two days at your location reviewing every aspect of your truckstop business from store layouts and product placement to ideas for growing your sales. After the review is complete, he will provide you with a personalized, highly-detail report of next steps.

NATSO’s Profitable Retail Review costs:
For NATSO members: $900 per day, plus expenses
For non-members: $1,750 per day, plus expenses

We recommend two days to allow for the most thorough review. Expense include flight, rental car, hotel and incidentals such as parking.
