The Coffee Cup Fuel Stop location in Moorecroft, Wyoming, greets customers with a friendly, warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to return again and again. To add to the ambiance, they use flowers, lighting and tap into the use of natural light, which makes the store look really bright.
The modern industrial look is unique, and the location taps into the local flair with cowboy and wood accents that make you feel like you are in Wyoming. Most importantly, the store is clean, easy to shop and easy to navigate.
Signage helps customers find where they are going and there is a directional hand used throughout the store. I love their fresh eats area. They have a great grab-and-go offering that is well marked and easy to find.
The flow of this store is well thought out. Coffee Cup has tried to keep sight levels lower. Data shows women like to walk into a store and survey the location very quickly. The restrooms are clearly identified and easy to find.
As part of the coffee program, the condiments are separated from the coffee, which keeps customers moving and eliminates a line forming as someone who just got coffee pours in cream. If you can move people after they’ve gotten their coffee, that is beneficial.
The whole location makes it easy for customers on the go to get in and out while also inviting people to stop and shop, which is a winning combination in this industry.
/// Did you know most weeks you can find me visiting a NATSO member truckstop location, spending three to four days, using my merchandising and operations expertise to help them grow their business? I periodically share about those great retailers I visit here on the blog. Read more Truckstop Travels here.
