Opposition to tolling Interstate 95 continues to rise, with the Ashland Town Council and the Richmond Area Metropolitan Planning Organization becoming the latest groups to join the growing chorus of voices against the project.

Meanwhile Richmond Times Dispatch columnist Jeff Schapiro wrote last week that the growing revolt is threatening to "blow holes" in the Republican Party and could become a major issue in Virginia's upcoming gubernatorial campaign.
