Travelcenters of America Opens Georgia Stop

TravelCenters of America recently opened a new TA Express Travel Center near Statesboro, Georgia.

The stop, which was built on a 19-acre plot along Interstate 16, features gasoline and diesel filling stations, private showers, a Burger King restaurant and a three-bay truck service center. Development Authority of Bulloch County CEO Benjy Thompson commented on the opening, “Certainly having the fuel center here is going to bring more attention to the interchange, not just locally but throughout the region, throughout the state. We believe the travel center will be complimentary to whatever industrial recruitment we do at Southern Gateway, or anywhere up and down this corridor.”
