NATSO Joins Coalition of Employers Requesting Stakeholder Engagement from DOL

Abstract:

NATSO joined a coalition of organizations representing employers and other stakeholders in sending a letter on Jan. 25 to the U.S. Department of Labor. The letter requests stakeholder meetings with the Agency in advance of any proposal it releases that would modify overtime requirements under labor law. DOL’s Wage and Hour Division plans to issue a proposal modifying the exemption of exectutive and managerial employees from the Fair Labor Standards Act’s minimum wage and overtime requirements.
