NATSO Submits Statement to Congressional Committee on Vaccine Mandate Concerns

Added on: October 29, 2021

Abstract:

The House Education and Labor Workforce Protections Subcommittee and the Civil Rights and Human Services Subcommittees held a joint hearing on Oct. 26 to discuss vaccine requirements and their impact on the workforce in a hearing titled, “Protecting Lives and Livelihoods: Vaccine Requirements and Employee Accommodations.” NATSO submitted a statement for the hearing record outlining concerns and questions our members have raised with the vaccine and testing requirements the Biden Administration is currently drafting. Although NATSO supports efforts to move beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, an aggressive and inflexible vaccine and testing mandate will trigger employee retention challenges and supply chain disruptions. NATSO was joined by the National Association of Convenience Stores and SIGMA: America’s Leading Fuel Marketers in submitting the statement for the record.
