NATSO, SIGMA, NACS Urge House Transportation Committee to Ensure EV Policy Lays Groundwork for Competitive Market

Added on: June 8, 2021

Abstract:

NATSO, SIGMA: America's Leading Fuel Marketers and the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) sent a letter to the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee June 8 urging the Committee to ensure that public policy lays the foundation for a competitive market for electric vehicle charging. Parts of the House surface transportation reauthorization, INVEST in America Act, advance this goal but other provisions risk undermining the potential for private sector investment in electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The letter was sent to the committee in advance of the June 9 markup of the INVEST Act.
