Sacramento 49er Travel Plaza President Shares How the NATSO Foundation Bill and Carolyn Moon Scholarship Changes Lives [Podcast]

/

Each year the NATSO Foundation’s Bill and Carolyn Moon Scholarship Program distributes thousands of dollars to students to pursue their educational goals. In 2021, the foundation will award five, $5,000 scholarships to truckstop and travel plaza employees and/or their legal dependents.

The scholarship program is an amazing employee benefit, and truckstops and travel plaza operators should encourage all of their employees to submit an application by the May 14, 2021, deadline

To help truckstops prepare, Afua Smith, NATSO’s senior manager of membership, joined the podcast to tell us about the scholarship.

We also welcomed Tristen Griffith, president at Sacramento 49er, to share her tips for promoting the scholarship to staff.
