NATSO Promotes Tiffany Wlazlowski Neuman to Vice President, Public Affairs

NATSO President and CEO Lisa Mullings announced that Tiffany Wlazlowski Neuman has been promoted to Vice President, Public Affairs.

In this new role, Wlazlowski Neuman will serve on the association’s senior management team, developing and executing communications strategies to advance NATSO’s public relations and advocacy goals. She also is responsible for developing and overseeing partnerships related to the NATSO Foundation’s public outreach initiatives.

“I am pleased to congratulate Tiffany on her new position as Vice President, Public Affairs,” said NATSO CEO Lisa Mullings. “Tiffany has leveraged her communications skills and strong work ethic to help drive successful communications strategies for NATSO and its members. We are excited about the opportunities that this next step holds.”  

Wlazlowski Neuman successfully served as NATSO’s Senior Director of Public Affairs since 2009. Prior to joining NATSO, Wlazlowski Neuman served as the Director of Public Affairs and Deputy Press Secretary at the American Trucking Associations.

Wlazlowski Neuman spent nearly 10 years in the print news business as a business writer and editor, including at a national trucking publication and Baltimore’s business and legal newspaper, The Daily Record.  

Wlazlowski Neuman is the recipient of several editorial awards, including a national editorial award from the American Society of Business Publication Editors for coverage of the financial impact of hours-of-service regulations on the trucking industry. She received a B.A. from Towson University.

Wlazlowski Neuman leads NATSO and the NATSO Foundation’s public affairs initiatives and communications strategies to promote the truck stop and travel center industry to the public, opinion leaders, elected officials, and the media. Her outreach includes a spectrum of policy issues facing the industry, with a particular focus on transportation and fuel issues, truck parking, and human trafficking. She serves as NATSO’s representative on the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Truck Parking Coalition, the Clean Freight Coalition, and various state truck parking technical advisory committees. She is the architect of the truck stop and travel center industry’s anti-human trafficking campaign and currently serves as a Committee member for the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Human Trafficking Advisory Council. Wlazlowski Neuman serves on the American Highway Users Policy and Government Affairs Committee.
