/

NATSO kicks off NATSO Connect in Orlando, Fla., tomorrow with hundreds of the nation’s truckstops, travel plazas, fuel retailers and their industry partners gathering here for three days of professional connection, networking and education.

NATSO’s Chairman of the Board Bob Bolduc will officially open the show along with NATSO President and CEO Lisa Mullings, marking the association’s return to an in-person annual conference. Bolduc and Mullings will highlight the opportunities and challenges that the industry faces as we move into 2022 and how the industry will address them.

This year’s Title Sponsor is Exxon Mobil Synergy Diesel Efficient.

Opening day events include a Renewable Fuels Workshop with NATSO's Alternative Fuels Council.

Ginger Laidlaw, Vice President, Alternative Fuels Council and Steven Hove, Business and It Development, Alternative Fuels Council will host two sessions: An Intro to Renewable Fuels Blending and Advanced Renewable Fuels Blending. The Alternative Fuels Council will walk through what economic benefits are available and what steps to take to determine what profit margins could be gained at your location. The second workshop is a deeper dive into blending renewable fuels including: how feedstock costs and availability play into biodiesel costs, supply logistics and strategies, as well as a look at new viable alternative fuels from an operator's perspective.

The education and networking continues through Feb. 23. Stay tuned for updates and highlights all week long.
