Coffee Bar Layout Tips to Maximize Sales

Convenience is still one of the leading coffee purchase drivers (second only to quality), so your coffee bar must quickly and efficiently meet the needs of your customers. With a majority of coffee buyers knowing in advance that they intend to purchase, you simply cannot afford to give them a reason to go elsewhere.  That’s why it is critical to consistently maintain these three simple factors to maximize sales:

  1. Easily identified. Signage should be clearly visible from the entry point and should distinguish the coffee area from the rest of the store.

  2. Well stocked. Nearly 70% of coffee consumers use an add-on so a variety must be available, along with cups, lids and stirrers at every station.

  3. Neat and clean. Designate staff to keep the area clean during peak hours and provide easy access to waste receptacles.
