Dressing up the Back Entrance at Your Travel Plaza

After Jamasa Sattler, acting manager of Plateau Travel Plaza in Madras, Oregon, read about back entrances at truckstops being less inviting than the front entrances on NATSO’s website, she decided to do something about it. (Read Welcome Professional Drivers by Rolling Out the Red Carpet here.)

Sattler added pots of flowers and had a local graphics company create a sign thanking professional drivers. The updates have garnered positive reactions from customers, vendors and staff.

Sattler said some people have suggested she add flowers to the front entrance as well!
