NATSO Testifies at EPA Hearing on Greenhouse Gas Proposal for Light-Duty Vehicles
NATSO Manager of Government Affairs Thereza Cevidanes testified on May 9 before the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regarding the agency’s proposal for tailpipe emissions in light and medium duty vehicles. For light-duty vehicles, the proposal would create a new target of 82 grams of carbon dioxide per mile traveled in 2032. That’s down roughly half from the Administration’s existing target for 2026.
