NATSO Vice President, Public Affairs, Tiffany Wlazlowski Neuman called attention to the challenges that truckstops and travel plazas face as they abide by varying health and social distancing orders being issued by local jurisdictions. In an article published in the New York Times, Wlazlowski Neuman highlighted the difficulties that truckstop and travel plaza employees face when they are asked to play the role of enforcement and police customers who may not always follow local orders. NATSO also underscored that truckstops and travel plazas remain open and are working hard to serve drivers and keep them on the road despite these challenges.
