NATSO Foundation Brings 5k Fundraiser to NATSO Connect 2025

Pack your walking shoes for NATSO Connect 2025! The NATSO Foundation is bringing a 5k back to NATSO Connect 2025 as the yearly fundraiser. The NATSO Foundation 5k Fundraiser will be Thursday, February 27 at 7:00 a.m.

The NATSO Foundation 5k Fundraiser is a community-building 5K run or walk that celebrates physical and mental well-being through exercise and provides a great opportunity to meet up with friends and supporters while also supporting the important work of the NATSO Foundation.

Want to Support the NATSO Foundation as a 5k Sponsor?
Ten $10,000 sponsorships of the 5k are available.

Who can sponsor? Donations can be made by corporations or individuals.  2024 sponsors included AMBEST, Apter Industries, CAT Scale, Davy Crockett TA Travel Center, Dodge City Petro, Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores and TravelCenters of America.

The NATSO Foundation is a federally registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and donations to the NATSO Foundation can potentially be claimed as a deduction on your federal taxes.

How to Register: Registration for the NATSO Foundation 5k Fundraiser is $50 and is included NATSO Connect registration.

Where:The NATSO Foundation 5k Fundraiser will be on the strip (yes, really!) starting outside Caeasar’s Palace.

When: Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 7:00 a.m. Check-in will open at 6:10 a.m. and must be complete by 6:50 a.m.

Race Details:

  • The event will include an out and back 5k course.
  • Participants can run or walk. (Walkers you will be in good company! The Foundation’s 5k generally has more walkers than runners.)
  • There will be water stations and t-shirts for participants.

80’s Theme: New this year, we encourage participants to dress up in a fun 80’s theme. We’ll provide the race t-shirt and sweatbands. Join the fun by wearing your best 80’s workout wear. Think neon colors, leg warmers, srunchies and fanny packs.

What Do The Funds From 5k Support And How Can Travel Centers Get Involved?
Funds will support the NATSO Foundation’s work. The NATSO Foundation is the research, education and public outreach subsidiary of NATSO Inc. The foundation is responsible for providing education and research for the truckstop and travel plaza industry.
