What the Fleet of the Future Could Mean for Truckstops and Travel Centers

New technologies, advancements in autonomy and advanced fueling options are bringing change to the trucking industry.

In a keynote moderated by Tiffany Wlazlowski Neuman, NATSO’s vice president, public affairs, at NATSO Connect 2022, industry leaders took part in a Fleets of the Future panel. Speakers included Wiley Deck, vice president of public affairs and public policy at Plus; Dave Williams, senior vice president of equipment and government relations for Knight- Swift; David Heller, vice president of government affairs for the Truckload Carriers Association; and Alan Marder, vice president of sales with Hyzon Motors.

Additionally, several NATSO executives also took part in the ACT Expo in May, where manufacturers and fleets discussed their expectations and demands for the future.

Using intel from these conversations and more, NATSO's magazine, examines what it means for the truckstop and travel center industry.
