In February during The NATSO Show 2016, three members of the Future Leaders Steering Council will facilitate what for many has become the highlight of The NATSO Show— the Great Ideas! for Independent Operators Workshop.
Corey Berkstresser, general manager at Lee Hi Travel Plaza, Gerald Danniel, chief operating officer at Liberty Petroleum Distributors, and Herb Hargraves, director of fuel and retail sales for Cash Magic, will come together to guide conversations that will help show attendees uncover their next great idea. To help them prepare for their facilitation gig, they met with NATSO staff and Jeffery Cufaude, a meeting facilitator, to learn more about managing group dynamics and maximizing attendees’ contributions.
Berkstresser, Hargraves, Danniel and Cufaude sat down with Stop Watch to share their insights on what contributes to an effective meeting—whether it is with staff, peers or customers.
