As you know, I’m a big fan of touring truckstop and travel plaza locations. So much of what we do in our industry is similar to what the person down the street does—we all offer food and fuel, but it can be fun to see how locations do it differently.
Earlier this year I was able to visit Zip Travel Center in Salome, Arizona, and I’d love to take you on a virtual tour.
Reviews left on Google have nice things to say about the location, too. One reviewer said: “Has fairly decent parking in and around the truck stop, but what I like about it is they have the trucker's counter separate from the regular travelers check stand, which allows us truck drivers to get in and out a little faster, and I thank the owner for creating that.” Another said, “Great coffee and nice restrooms. I make it a point to stop here.”
It is always great to see positive feedback on a NATSO member location!
