NATSO, Fuel Marketers File Comments on EPA’s RIN Market Proposal

EPA Considers Identifying Petitioners Seeking Small Refinery Waivers

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is considering changing its policy to allow it to identify those refiners seeking small refinery waivers that exempt them from their obligations under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). According to a request for comment released by EPA on April 12, the agency is seeking public comment on whether it should disclose petitioners’ names, identify facilities and locations as well as describe the relief requested. NATSO Alternative Fuels Council Unveils RFS RIN Management Service

NATSO Inc., the national association representing the travel plaza and truckstop industry, and the Alternative Fuels Council (NATSOAltFuels.com), Oct. 1 launched a new RIN Management Service designed to help fuel retailers that blend and sell renewable fuels to more efficiently participate in the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program and manage their Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs).
