The NATSO Foundation is inviting truckstops and travel plazas to an ant-human trafficking coalition meeting in Boise, Idaho, on Oct. 7. The half-day meeting will include representatives of the Canyon County Sheriff's Office, the Idaho Trucking Association, Idaho State Police, Idaho Transportation Department and Truckers Against Trafficking and is aimed at coordinating ways to fight human trafficking within the state. Panels will delve into local trends, case studies and victim-centered approaches to responding to suspected incidents of human trafficking. More

When Jessica Chapman, a cashier at Sapp Bros., in Junction City, Kansas, noticed a woman who seemed distressed, she drew on her human trafficking awareness training and caught the woman’s eye to ask if she was alright.
