Supply chain challenges plagued the country throughout 2021 and 2022 due to consumer demand increases, labor shortages, containers in the wrong places and port inefficiencies.
“It is still questionable in terms of what relief we will see and when,” said John Langley, a professor at Penn State University and founder of the Annual Third-Party Logistics Study. “Right now, it is so complex, and there are many factors that are collectively responsible for what is going on.”
