The NATSO Foundation this week is launching a new daily e-newsletter called Biz Brief designed to provide readers with business intelligence tailored specifically for truckstop and travel plaza owners and operators. The publication offers a compilation of the relevant articles mined from hundreds of news sources.

Starting Wednesday, readers can expect this newsletter of 10 to 12 articles each morning with news links on topics such as energy, natural gas, the interstate highway system, pipelines, taxes, hours-of-service and truck weight issues. Additionally, the newsletter will include articles detailing more general business issues such as leadership, freight logistics, economic indicators and information technology.

Biz Brief is the latest tool in the NATSO Foundation’s arsenal of programs and products aimed at strengthening travel plazas’ ability to meet the needs of the traveling public through improved operational performance and business planning.
