Hundreds of senior level truckstop and travel plaza operators, essential suppliers and industry thought leaders are coming together starting today in the Dallas metro area for NATSO Connect 2023. More than 16,000 locations representing $65 billion in buying power take part in the event, which features exclusive learning opportunities, executive briefings from industry experts, hand-selected vendors and peer-to-peer discussions designed to help operators grow their businesses.

Attendees at NATSO Connect can take advantage of several carefully curated learning opportunities on Wednesday, March 8. Operators who have registered for the NATSO Connect Retail Tour will leave at 9:30 a.m. to tour best-in-class locations in the greater Dallas area.

The Charge Ahead Partnership will host an Electric Vehicle Charging Meeting from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The number of electric vehicles on America’s roads is poised to grow exponentially in the future, presenting challenges and opportunities around EV charging. How those issues play out will define what role retailers will play in serving EV drivers’ recharging needs. This informative session will center on the partnership’s key policy issues and how to effectively bring the industry's concerns to lawmakers, regulators and the public.

At 2 p.m., NATSO’s Roadside Repair/Shop Safety Sharegroup will meet to discuss critical issues involving truck repair and roadside assistance. NATSO’s popular Great Ideas! Workshop will kick off at 4 p.m. This year’s session will feature opportunities for idea sharing as well as a fireside chat with Stephanie Stuckey, CEO of Stuckey’s Corp. and a former politician from Georgia, and Dale Elks, general manager of Oasis Travel Center.

Be sure to attend NATSO Connect’s Find and Dine Reception Wednesday from 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. The event will feature several trending dining concepts and offers attendees a chance to sip and socialize with truckstop and travel center owners from across the country.
