President-elect Donald Trump's pick to lead the Treasury Department Steven Mnuchin reiterated the incoming administration's commitment to passing a massive infrastructure package calling it a big priority for the administration.

"We need to make sure that our infrastructure is built for the 21st century, that we have roads and bridges and power grids and infrastructure that support this country, and that's going to be a big focus," Mnuchin said.

Mnuchin did not offer any new details on how President-Elect Trump's $1 trillion infrastructure plan would be paid for. So far, Trump has spoken only at a high level about private investment, tax credits and repatriation.

"I think we're going to look a lot of different things. Some public/private partnerships, different types of things we're [looking] at, but it's all going to be a big priority," Mnuchin said.
