To show its appreciation for truckers, Johnson’s Corner is hosting Trucker Appreciation Day on August 20, 2014. Held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event will include food, games, prizes and fun.

The event is free for all local and over the road drivers.

“Being a truck driver is often a thankless job,” said Chauncey Taylor, owner of Johnson’s Corner. “We want to show our appreciation for and thank truck drivers – after all, it is truckers that keep our country moving.”

Johnson’s Corner has been serving truckers from all over the nation for over 64 years.

A full-service truckstop and world-famous restaurant, Historic Johnson’s Corner has not closed its doors since it opened in 1952. It is located just south of Loveland, off I-25 at Exit 254, and is open seven days a week, serving up old-fashioned, home-style cooking and hospitality. For more information on Johnson’s Corner, visit www.johnsonscorner.com
