Servicing vehicles on the side of the road is often inevitable, and the safety of roadside service technicians is a top priority for the NATSO Foundation. The NATSO Foundation has formed the Truck Repair and Roadside Safety ShareGroup to help operators identify and implement strategies to improve safety.

Jake Elovirta, director of compliance and enforcement programs for the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA), shared best practices with the ShareGroup, and NATSO invited him back to take part in The Truck Stops Here podcast.

Elovirta joined Amy Toner, executive director of the NATSO Foundation, and Tiffany Walzlowski Neuman, NATSO’s vice president of public affairs, to share strategies that can protect technicians.
