Where will your next idea come from? During the Great Ideas! Session at The NATSO Show, Jeffrey Cufaude shared the following quick tips with business owners looking for inspiration.

  1. Think through every experience a customer goes through and make it better. Great ideas make things better, so keep an eye out for the little, doable things that make things run smoother. The more that you can craft experience and that the experience meshes with what matters to people, they’ll pay a premium.
  2. Create a space where ideas can mingle and swap. Most great ideas take a long time to evolve and need to collide with other ideas to really take shape. Borrow other people’s hunches and combine them with your own.
  3. Commit to your ideas. Write them down and create deadlines. If you need a reminder, tap into a website such aswww.futureme.org, which will email you reminders about your commitments and your timeframe.
  4. Prioritize your ideas. A good brainstorming session can leave you with a list of new projects to tackle. Prioritize your list, then jot down the new habits you’re going to create to help you achieve your goals.
