FMCSA Waives HOS Restrictions for Gasoline, Diesel Haulers

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has waived Hours of Service restrictions for haulers of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, ethyl alcohol, and heating fuel including propane, natural gas, and heating oil. More

EPA Issues Waiver for E15 Sales

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued an emergency fuel waiver to allow E15 gasoline, gasoline that uses a 15 percent ethanol blend, to be sold during the summer driving season, effective May 1. NATSO urged EPA to exercise its waiver authority under the Clean Air Act to authorize the year-round sale of E15 arguing it would lower the cost of fuel while also enhancing America’s energy security and improving the emissions characteristics of gasoline. More
