The holiday season is full of giving, and Broadway Flying J Travel Plaza location in Spokane, Washington, wanted to make sure a local charity was able to provide for children in need.
Our Place Community Outreach is located in the West Central neighborhood of Spokane. It has a team of volunteers and donors that help serve the local community. The organization provides emergency resources, such as food and clothing, but this year Our Place only had $200 to make Christmas happen for kids.
So, those at Broadway jumped into action and contributed $2,400.93 to the non-profit’s holiday funds, bringing joy to children as well as the volunteers.
The truckstop and travel plaza community often gives back to those in need, and NATSO would love to hear more examples of the good they do. Please share your stories with me at email@example.com.
