Letter to Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources Outlining Principles for Advancing Alternative Fuels in the Marketplace

Abstract:

In a letter to the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, NATSO and the fuel retailing community outlined a series of consumer-based, market-oriented proposals to advance the adoption of alternative fuels in the marketplace. NATSO outlined six principles that should guide the approach to lowering the carbon footprint of transportation fuel. The letter was also signed by the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America (SIGMA) and the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS).
