Tax Reform
Travel plazas and truckstops are generally one of the largest taxpayers in their respective communities. As Congress considers comprehensive tax reform legislation, NATSO will work to ensure they consider the industry's important perspective.
There are a number of provisions in the U.S. tax code that impact travel plazas’ and truckstops’ operations. NATSO members operate diverse businesses, and their ability to grow and create jobs depends largely on a fair, efficient tax code. What’s more, many NATSO members pay taxes at individual rates, including owners who pay taxes on income that comes through S corps, limited liability companies (LLCs), and other “pass-through” entities.
