USA Today Editorial Calls For Increasing the Gas Tax

Increasing the federal motor fuels tax is the simplest, fairest and least invasive way to increase revenues for infrastructure spending, USA Today stated in a recent editorial.  By contrast, the editorial cited some of the alternative solutions being presented by states as "alarming." The alternative funding ideas range from "punitive to ridiculously complicated to Big Brotherish," the editorial said.
