The National Governors Association will make the increased use of natural gas a priority in 2013, said Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, the vice chair of the group. "Our initiative supports the production of American-made natural gas [and] the creation of American jobs, which would benefit our local economies and certainly help our state budgets," Fallin said when detailing NGA's priorities for the year. In addition to switching more vehicles to natural gas, NGA will push for increased natural gas infrastructure and filling stations.
