Industry suppliers who would like to get an around-the-clock inside look at life within a truckstop can tune in and watch Truckstop USA on the Travel Channel. The reality show features NATSO member Midway Truck Stop, which is located halfway between Kansas City and St. Louis, Mo. The location boasts more than a dozen different businesses on 200 acres and is an oasis for highway travelers and locals alike.

The show features the location’s staff and general manager Joe Bechtold. The Bechtold family bought the location in 1978. Back then the location had two fuel pumps and a leaky roof. Today businesses within the location include Under The Gun Tattoo Parlor, Cannery Row Daycare, Spirit of 76 fireworks shop and the largest antique mall in Missouri. The location caters to independent operators, striving to give them great service and unique and entertaining things to do.
