Several travel plazas were ranked on Forbes 2012 list of the largest private companies in the U.S. Pilot Flying J ranked number six and had sales of $29.23 billion. Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores ranked number nine and had sales of $22.04 billion. Sinclair Oil ranked number 43 and had sales of $7.75 billion.
