A new survey found that 51.4 percent of motor carriers are considering natural gas-fueled trucks when buying new vehicles, according to an article in Transport Topics. The study, conducted by Transport Capital Partners and ACT Research, found that carriers reportedly are interested because of the price difference between natural gas and diesel. However, 75 percent said they would need a return on investment within two years to justify the higher price of the vehicle.
