At TimeMaxx in Baytown, Texas, travelers with children will feel at home. The location is clean and well-lit and has a great mix of products and food that appeal to families as well as solo travelers.
TimeMaxx makes itself memorable with a large M&M display that allows customers to create their own unique blend of colors. Customers can’t find that just anywhere, which makes it a draw.
The youngest shoppers will also like the location’s selection of toys.
The signage and colors used in each section of the store help create the atmosphere and enrich the offerings. The rainbow of slushies against a colorful backdrop is upbeat and vibrant while the warm browns in the coffee bar invoke a rich feel.
Everything within the location is well labeled and the signage is visible throughout the store, making it easy for customers to navigate. They can easily spot soda fountains, food offerings and the restrooms. That not only helps those that are in a rush, but also provides a sense of comfort for those who are stopping for the first time. It can also boost sales by letting customers know exactly what is available.
The signage for each section is unique, but it all works together to add to the ambiance.
/// Did you know most weeks you can find me visiting a NATSO member truckstop location, spending three to four days, using my merchandising and operations expertise to help them grow their business? I periodically share about those great retailers I visit here on the blog. Read more Truckstop Travels here.
