During a visit to Scottsdale, Arizona, a friend told me we had to have to lunch at The Thumb. She raved about the barbecue, then she added with a smile, “It is a gas station.” Although the sign at The Thumb says it is “just your average gas station,” the location is anything but average.
In addition to amazing barbecue, indoor and outdoor seating, fuel and traditional c-store offerings, the location has an amazing assortment of gifts, accessories, toys and holiday items and more.
There is also a pastry shop and bakery and fun signage throughout the location. The Thumb also taps into the local atmosphere, offering local coffees and an assortment of picture books with an Arizona theme. Join me on a visual tour.
