Who Drinks Iced Tea

Tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world next to water. On any given day, over one half of the American population drinks tea with roughly 69 million adult Americans consuming iced tea every day.(1) This is why iced tea is a terrific growth opportunity for many establishments.

Split pretty evenly by gender, women drink just a slightly higher percent of iced tea then men with about 31% of consumers falling between the ages of 50-64 and about 24% between the ages of 35-49.(2)
