The American Trucking Associations’ advanced seasonally adjusted for-hire truck tonnage index rose 0.2 percent in March after increasing 0.5 percent in February. March tonnage, and the first quarter reflect an economy that is growing moderately, ATA Chief Economist Bob Costello said.
