NATSO Promotes David Fialkov to Vice President, Government Relations

NATSO President and CEO Lisa Mullings announced that David Fialkov has been promoted to Vice President, Government Relations. In this role, Fialkov will continue his role as NATSO's Legislative and Regulatory Counsel and also will lead the association’s legislative policy and lobbying efforts on behalf of the truckstop and travel plaza industry. He also will oversee NATSO’s relationship with government regulators.

Fialkov recently joined NATSO from the law firm of Steptoe and Johnson LLP, where as a counsel in the Government Affairs and Public Policy department he advised motor fuel wholesale and retail industries on legislative, regulatory and political issues.

During his tenure, Fialkov successfully represented clients on such critical business issues as energy, labor matters, food and menu labeling, healthcare and employment issues, tax matters and data security.

Fialkov succeeds Brad Stotler who recently resigned his position to become the District Chief of Staff for Congressman Darin LaHood (R-Ill.).
