As search and rescue teams continue to look for survivors of yesterday’s devastating tornado in Oklahoma, the NATSO Foundation is doing its part to help the victims of the tragedy.
The NATSO Foundation is launching a Disaster Relief Fund that will support people within our very own travel plaza and truckstop community by providing access to immediate financial resources to the members and customers of the industry affected by a disaster.
The fund will serve as a repository for financial resources that can be dispersed following a disaster. Charitable awards will be made by the Foundation Board of Directors based on an objective determination of need or distress to truckstop and travel plaza customers or employees, truck drivers and small motor carriers impacted by disasters. All donations we receive for this fund will go directly to the victims.
The NATSO Foundation is seeking your help in making the Disaster Relief Fund a success, and we hope that you will contribute to this new program.
Donations to the fund can be made online here to help support people from our own industry who are in urgent need.
