For the month of March, Broadway Diner, located in the Broadway Truck Stop in Spokane, Washington, was a proud participant of the “Dine Out To Feed Spokane” project, a benefit to raise awareness for the Feed Spokane agency.

Broadway Diner is small family-style restaurant that proudly serves its surrounding neighborhoods, a core group of regulars, professional trucker drivers and interstate travelers in the heart of the Spokane Valley.

Broadway Diner was the largest fundraiser for the entire Dine Out program.

Broadway, donated 5% of all sales on Sundays in March and $2,054 was raised by the diner’s generous staff and customers, allowing them to give just over $3,000.

Feed Spokane rescues safe and usable food from local area restaurants and grocery stores to supply non-profits that serve free meals to those in need. The Dine Out program raised funds for this organization, which serves the Spokane area with over 65,000 meals a month.

Broadway has always been committed to their community, whether it’s supporting 4-H, the Boy Scouts, Baseball teams or local charities. Even more remarkable than the companies approach to community support is its staff’s equal if not greater commitment to those in need. Their staff has lead the valley in fundraisers like the March of Dime’s shamrock sales and even raised money for the Flight of Honor program during this Christmas season. With hearts often bigger than their pocket books, Broadway Diner’s employees and patrons are a valued part of the Feed Spokane Team along with many civically minded organizations.
