McLane Kitchen Added at The NATSO Show

McLane is bringing a small portion of the McLane Kitchen to The NATSO Show! To prepare NATSO Show attendees for this great show addition, I sat down with McLane to prepare this Q and A on all the must-know McLane Kitchen questions. 

Q: What is the McLane Kitchen?
A: McLane Kitchen is McLane’s foodservice solution that provides customized food and equipment programs designed to fit each retailer’s unique foodservice-at-retail objectives whether complex or turnkey. We leverage our relationship with 175 foodservice suppliers that over 1,800 SKUs to provide our customers with top-selling foodservice products.

Under the McLane Kitchen umbrella, McLane offers a comprehensive produce solution, Fresh Produce+, the first nationally-distributed produce solution for convenience stores. The Fresh Produce+ solution leverages industry leading cold chain capabilities to deliver a consistent fresh product mix to all customers, regardless of location. With easy-to-order shipments and customer-determined markup, Fresh Produce+ makes produce simple and profitable.

Q: What can attendees expect to see?
A: McLane Kitchen not only assists in crafting a foodservice program but also provides educational materials and even training. Our McLane Kitchen booth at this year’s NATSO show will give a glimpse into our foodservice offerings as well as our educational materials.

Q: How is the McLane Kitchen different from a typical booth?
A: McLane Kitchen encourages foodservice operators to think outside-of-the-box when it comes to their foodservice offerings. Our foodservice experts work diligently with suppliers to develop out-of-the-ordinary snack and meal recipes that are simple, profitable and will take retailer’s foodservice programs to the next level. Recipes include Bahn Mi hot dogs, buffalo chicken grilled cheese and southwest chicken salad.
